Lack of order, as I made an appointment one day for another, indicating what I needed. On the day of the appointment, I paid for the product, and when I arrived with the gynecologist, they told me they didn’t have any stock at that location, and I had to wait more than two hours. When I finally got to see the doctor, he was not at all charismatic. The procedure was extremely painful, and they never told me I could buy anesthetic.

Terrible service. It feels like a traditional health center. Even as a private individual, it’s stressful to make an appointment. It’s better to pay at another private clinic with better service, even if it’s more expensive. Besides that, I took some tests, and they threw away the results and never responded

I had a private transvaginal ultrasound. To begin with, the wait at the checkout was extremely long, with people waiting up to two hours to pay for the procedure they were going to do. The worst part, in my case, was the procedure itself. The doctor in charge of performing the procedure made inappropriate comments, and his treatment at the end regarding any questions I had about the procedure was the worst of all.

They didn’t want to assist me or authorize the removal of the implant that they themselves placed in me and it was the worst, a bad procedure, bad attention, they leave you talking alone and making an appointment is super difficult. You arrive and they don’t assist you or give you any answers.

Horrible. The service is incredibly slow, the cashiers take a long time and just laugh amongst themselves, the staff is a bit dismissive, as if they don’t want to work, and they often don’t provide complete information; they don’t keep track of the order. But to get paid, they tell you to make the payment immediately.

Terrible care and zero respect for patients at Profamilia Tequendama. My partner had an appointment scheduled for 2:00 p.m., and it’s 4:15 p.m. and he hasn’t been seen. No one gives a clear reason for the delay: the cashier says it’s the system’s fault since June 3rd, while SIAU responds with total disinterest and tells us there have been people waiting since the morning, as if that justifies the mess.

They called us the day before to confirm the appointment and at no point did they mention that the wait times were 2 or 3 hours. We canceled work commitments, hoping for a proper appointment. This isn’t a favor: it’s a health service and must be treated responsibly.

If they knew about the problem, why do they continue scheduling without informing us? Where is the respect? A total lack of management, empathy, and ethics.

Terrible service. Customer service is incredibly rude. If the system crashes or there’s a glitch, they blame each other and don’t fix anything. At the time of your appointment, they ask you to arrive 30 minutes early to see you two hours later. If they’re not going to do their job your own way, it’s best to find another option because even here, the service is horrible.

The system crashes and the whole thing falls apart; nobody solves anything, it’s useless. The customer service is terrible. I recommend looking for private labs; I had a great experience with Synlab, and it’s nearby.

Terrible service. At Pro Familia’s Tequendama location, the wait time for billing is excessively long. They cancel appointments without advance notice, don’t provide the necessary information before performing the procedure, and when you arrive for the appointment, they simply cancel without prior notice. They have no interest in the patient’s well-being. Indolent professionals. I do not recommend this service.

Despite offering good services, the customer service is terrible. They’re incredibly disorganized, their billing system is a huge waste of time, they send you to request appointments online and never answer, and when they do, they tell you to go to the office. They treat you as if you owe them money. It’s a shame that such a good institution has such inhumane treatment and such awful customer service.

I didn’t like the doctor’s care. I wanted to have surgery to prevent having more children, and the only thing she told me was that because of your weight, they couldn’t operate on you. Go to your EPS and they’ll refer you somewhere else. And the medical records say that the risks were explained to the patient. At no point did she explain anything to me, and from the first moment I came in for care, it was as if she was in a hurry.

I’ve been going for like 2 years and I always make an appointment and today I make an appointment and they call me and tell me no, that it’s the first time that I’m going and that I have to pay for an appointment for the first time that it’s like 76 thousand when the check-up appointment costs 47, yet they want to make me pay the 76. I go to the appointment and the doctor doesn’t examine me, by the way she treats me like a student, she doesn’t examine me but instead orders me some tests that THEY HAD ALREADY SENT ME BEFORE. I lost my money for fun, crappy place, how I hate it, they’re useless, this is TWICE THAT THE SAME DOCTOR DOES THIS, I GO, I PAY FOR MY APPOINTMENT TO GET CHECKED UP AND SHE DOESN’T FEEL LIKE CHECKING ME. This is the TWO TIMES that I have lost my money with that so-called doctor.

Today, April 14, 2023, I went to the clinic for an appointment I had been scheduled for 12 days prior. I arrived an hour early, but they refused to see me because the doctor said my appointment was optional.

All this after paying and waiting an hour in the waiting room.

I think the doctor’s behavior is unacceptable. She should respect other people’s time.

To make matters worse, when I went for my Pap smear 12 days ago, the same doctor left all the previous patient’s materials on the table, completely dirty, and next to them she placed the materials she used on me. She saw the look on my face when I asked her to change the paper on the examination table. I hope you will take all of this into account.

They exploit women’s sexual and emotional health; even if you have a history and cytology from the EPS (health insurance provider), they won’t treat you without first charging and repeating procedures to collect 75,000 pesos for a gynecologist appointment, when what is indicated is that a cauterization is needed and nothing more.

It’s incredible that an institution of such prestige and tradition in Medellín doesn’t have a place within its facilities where patients’ companions can sit and wait. And that, in many cases, they have to wait outside the building, in a very unsafe area.

My wife had a tubeectomy appointment at 12 noon. We arrived at 11:30 AM and took the form they told us to take at reception. After an hour without arriving for our appointment, I went to find out and they told me that since it was lunchtime, the staff was having lunch. I don’t understand why they make appointments at noon if they’re going to have patients starving and have a tedious wait!

 It’s surely a place with good doctors, but the appointment scheduling process is exceedingly tedious, no matter the method available.

When you finally get the appointment and show up 30 minutes early, the process of getting into the office is exhausting, and the receptionists who guide you through the process are rude and/or indifferent.

NON-COMPLIANCE

The system or automatic call center never confirmed my appointment and gave me a time. I think it’s a system with many flaws, and as a user, I can’t access the health service. Not to mention that I’ve been trying repeatedly to schedule an appointment for over a month, but there’s never one. After so much time trying and absolutely no response, I conclude that no one checks that chat. A terrible way to serve users.

Very bad service. No one answers. They already have this type of complaint, and they’re not doing anything about it. Bad service isn’t solved with a pre-written apology email that says exactly the same thing about WORKING EVERY DAY TO PROVIDE BETTER SERVICE, which from what I see isn’t true since NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE YET.

Update that phone and have a person answer the phone. If you keep having the same problem for MONTHS, it’s because YOU DON’T HAVE TRAINED STAFF, or you simply DON’T CARE, and the only solution is a simple apology message like the one you see in your responses to the other complaints you see on this website.

The personalized attention is very bad and the telephone attention is not to mention it is incredible that you have to be there an hour early to attend an appointment just because of the disorder of the billing girls. In addition, the time wasted in that place with time after time is incredible. It’s not even a super good institution with a huge demand. The service is very bad.

Lack of organization, the service depends on people’s moods, so the service is up and down. They are mediocre when it comes to keeping appointments and tests organized. Even paying high sums for private services doesn’t improve the service. The only good thing is the prices.
