Management has also been accused of transphobic harassment . . .
As the dispute continues, Chandler said that workers in PPSE health centers are reporting that “this is having a massive impact.” Two registered nurses quit the Metro Atlanta health center and have not been rehired, Chandler said.
“If we don’t have registered nurses, we’re not going to be able to perform any service to its full capabilities,” Chandler said.

However, that relief, the source said, was immediately put on pause when staff were asked to sign an Employee Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement by Monday, January 5th. The NDA bars disclosure of protected information, whether true or false, and extends confidentiality obligations indefinitely beyond employment, according to documentation reviewed by TN Repro News. Staff familiar with the rollout said the dissemination of the NDA—coming immediately after Akposé’s resignation and ahead of a board-led staff call on the following Friday—felt like a continued effort to silence internal voices, rather than a step toward accountability.

outcomes if that would decrease health center revenue . . .
On September 30 2025, I was terminated along with several other members of the policy team, all of whom had challenged what we viewed as the subversion of the Planned Parenthood mission. The stated rationale was “restructuring” for budgetary reasons: this was false, as PPSE had just hired several new
executive positions at a higher salary point than my role. In PPSE’s notice of separation provided to the Georgia Department of Labor, the representation was made that my position was ended because of “a lack of work”. That could not conceivably be the case because education is classified as one of PPSE’s three
primary functions.
I allege that my firing reflects associational discrimination under the mixed motive provision of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964: specifically, my termination was t least partly based on my advocacy for providing health-based education to transgender populations . . .
